Adults CrossFit classes (60 minutes) are ages 17+ and include a warm up, skill work to build functional strength,¬† a metabolic workout of the day (WOD) and a cool down/mobility work. The CrossFit program is a strength and conditioning system based on constantly varied, functional movements, executed at a relative high intensity. It combines gymnastics, metabolic conditioning (“cardio”), power and Olympic weightlifting into one exercise routine.

 

JCF-ourprogramsBarbell Club classes (60 minutes) are open to all current members of Jab CrossFit. The class focuses solely on the Olympic Lifts (Clean and Jerk, Snatch) and their accessory movements. Class also focuses on mobility: stretches and exercises designed to help our athletes loosen up their joints and muscles. Great for athletes familiar with Olympic Lifting and those who have never picked up a barbell before.

 

 

Corrective Exercise Privates 

(60 minutes)¬†People commonly develop imbalances in their body simply due to the nature of their physical activities, work, or habits. Tightness may increase in some areas, muscle weakness in others, a lack of joint mobility, or all of the above. These imbalances can “sneak up on you” and lead to pain or injuries unless they are addressed. During a corrective exercise private, your human movement system (HMS) will be assessed in order to determine where any major impairments exist. Your coach will then develop a plan to address those impairments head on to help prevent injury and keep you in the game. Sessions are great for anyone, whether injury free, recovering from an injury, or experiencing discomfort.
